What should I wear?
Our advice is to wear comfortable workout clothes. You should be able to move freely and easily without any restriction. Since you will be taking note of the alignment of your body and limbs, baggy clothing is not a good option. Pilates is done in bare feet or grip socks. Shoes are not needed.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
You do not need to bring anything with you though you are free to bring a bottle of water if you so desire. All the mats and equipment you will need are provided by our studio.
Should I eat beforehand?
If you are feeling hungry, then a light snack is fine. We would recommend that you not ingest a heavy meal before your workout as it could make you feel a bit uncomfortable and sluggish. Make sure you are well hydrated.
I'm out of shape and worried that I won't be able to fully participate. Will Pilates be too difficult for me?
We recognize that not everyone is the same. The beauty of a moving body, whether thin, fit, or overweight, is the same. We meet you were you are and help you experience the benefits of Pilates regardless of your body type or fitness level.
