My favorite foods...I love just about all vegetables and fruits. Having a salad with a variety of veggies or a bunch of roasted vegetables is by far my favorite! Topped off with a good balsamic! I like to bake and love to make cookies!
My favorite team is the Red Sox! But my favorite sports are triathlons and the Ironman. My son and future daughter in law are very involved with them, coaching as well as participating.
I enjoy almost every type of music. It simply depends on what I am doing and the mood! Right now my favorite song is Humble and Kind...something we all need to be.
I have always enjoyed exercising. It became much more important to me after losing Bob to melanoma in the summer of 2010. That fall I started the Insanity Workouts. They got me through that winter and quite a few more! That spring I became a Beachbody Coach. Almost two years ago, I happened to see Shannon's post on Facebook about the teacher training program. I had never done Pilates but I was quite interested. I signed up! The more I learned about Pilates, the more I fell in love with it. I had had some surgery just before the program started, so all I could do was watch. That was so very hard! I love what Pilates has done for me. My core is much stronger, my posture is far better and the positive effect it has had on my everyday is just incredible.
Let's see...my favorite exercise....hmmmm...I don't think there is just one! I love the mat work because it's just you and let's you know where you are! (Teaser is one of my favorites). The tower and the reformer have so many! And the chair...amazing! Some days you just need one over another! Meet your body (and mind) where it is today!
